Talking About the Future

It is possible expressing the future time in English in many different ways:
  • Will
  • Going to
  • Present Continuous

We use going to when we want to talk about a plan for the future.




 Subject + to be + going to + infinitive
  • I'm going to see him tomorrow.
  • They're going to go to London next month.
  • We're going to study English this afternoon.

This future plan doesn’t have to be for the near future. In this case, we use the present continuous form of the verb:
