Countable and Uncountable Nouns: Tips

Some tips to avoid mistakes.

Quantifiers (A / SOME / ANY)

General rules:

SOME is used in affirmative statements with uncountable nouns. ANY is used in questions. ANY is used in negative statements with plural countable nouns. ANY is used in negative statements with uncountable nouns.
