We Want Peace by Lenny Kravitz (Change Begins at Home)

In early 2003, Lenny Kravitz released the song "We Want Peace" as a protest against the 2003 invasion of Iraq, he performed this alongside famous Iraqi singer Kazem Al Saher at Rock The Vote. The track reached #1 on the world internet download charts and MP3.com download chart.

In the next video, Lenny explain the song:

Here they are the lyrics:

Come on people
It's time to get together
It's time for the revolution

Here is once again in our face
Why haven't we learn from our past
We're at the crossroads of our human race
Why are we kicking our own ass

We want peace
We want it yes
We want peace
We want it yes
We want peace
And we want it fast (x2)

We're on the eve of destruction my friends
We are about to go to far
Politicians think that war is the way
But we know that love has the power

We want peace
We want it yes
We want peace
We want it yes
We want peace
And we want it fast (x2)

The solution is simple and fame
There won't be peace if we don't try
In a war there is nothing to gain
When so many people will die

We want peace
We want it yes
We want peace
We want it yes
We want peace

And we want it fast (x2)

The BestCrops - 'Behind'

Woooooooo Woooooo (x4)

Most of us started here when we were three (three)
And some other arrived along the years
We came from different countries of the world (world)
But studying at this school has made us one

And I can't get enough
I can't get enough
I don’t wanna go out (whoa)
I can't get enough
I can't get enough
But it’s time to leave now

It’s time to leave behind
Behind
Behind our past
It’s time to leave behind
Behind
Behind our past

Woooooooo Woooooo (x6)

We have shared lots of special moments here (here)
And promise don’t forget a single thing
We’ll keep them in our head and in our soul (soul)
‘Cause this is our last year at this school

But I can't get enough
 I can't get enough
I don’t wanna go out (whoa)
I can't get enough
I can't get enough
But it’s time to leave now

It’s time to leave behind
Behind
Behind our past (x2)

Woooooooo Woooooo (x2)

Studying here has made me stronger
I feel like I can reach my aims

It’s time to leave behind, behind
Behind our past (x4)

Woooooooo Woooooo (x4)
